The Amarillo Gunfighters invite you to share an evening of fun, comedy, drama, music, and cowboy poetry. There is something for everyone. The Rusty Spur Outpost is a recreation of a West Texas Town in the 1870's. Take a step back into history as the town comes alive with cowboys, gamblers, outlaws and saloon girls.

Be sure and visit Calico Kate's Gift Shop, and take a walk to "Boot Hill" Cemetary. The Rusty Spur Outpost is pure family entertainment. With a spectacular view of Palo Duro Canyon, and located near a sacred Indian Burial Ground, a visit to the Rusty Spur Outpost is like taking a step back in Time.
The Rusty Spur is located 1/2 mile West of the entrance to Palo Duro Canyon on Highway 217. From Amarillo Texas, take Interstate Highway 27 South, and take the exit for Palo Duro Canyon. Turn Left (eastbound) on Highway 217 toward the Canyon, and watch for the Rusty Spur sign.
The Rusty Spur welcomes tour buses, company picnics, family reunions, church groups, weddings, and virtually any celebration! When you book in advance, you can also enjoy the best Barbeque and Campfire Breakfast in the state of Texas!!
